Vivace Microneedling

Aesthetic medicine

Microneedling is one of the most established anti-ageing techniques – as well as a favourite among celebrities – for toning the facial muscles and renewing the skin in a safe and non-invasive way. This skin rejuvenation technique stimulates skin regeneration through micro-perforations made with fine needles, enhanced by radiofrequency, which acts on the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production. The result is a face that looks younger, more defined and more radiant.

Vivace, the new-generation radiofrequency microneedling device used by the AraMedica clinic in Lecce, enables dermo-epidermal renewal by stimulating the natural synthesis of collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin’s texture also appears improved and free from spots, acne scars and wound scars.

Microneedling is used to improve various skin imperfections through a combination of thermal energy and gold-coated micro-needles, which stimulate skin regeneration, reducing wrinkles and evening out skin texture.

The number of sessions required varies depending on the condition of the skin and the patient’s aesthetic goals. Generally, 3–4 sessions, spaced 3–4 weeks apart, are recommended to achieve optimal results. Some patients may notice improvements after the first session, but to achieve visible and long-lasting results, it is necessary to complete the full course of treatment.

The cost of microneedling treatment depends on the area to be treated. The price may, of course, vary if a full course of sessions is required. Please contact us to receive a free, no-obligation quote from our consultants.

The treatment is considered safe, but like any cosmetic procedure, it may cause some temporary side effects, such as redness and mild swelling in the treated area, scabbing following the penetration of the micro-needles, skin sensitivity or mild itching, bruising or slight pinpoint marks caused by the needles. These side effects are generally temporary and resolve within a few days.

When carried out correctly by experienced professionals, the treatment does not cause permanent damage. It is essential, however, that proper hygiene measures are followed to minimise the risk of complications such as infections, scarring or hyperpigmentation. To minimise the risks, it is important to choose a specialist practitioner and strictly follow the post-treatment instructions.
