Vito Cazzato
Biography
From 15 November 2022 to 15 March 2023, Dr Vito Cazzato worked at the P. Pederzoli Hospital in Peschiera del Garda (VR) as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, within the Breast Surgery division, specialising in particular in breast reconstruction.
From 1 October 2022 to 1 April 2023, he collaborated with Humanitas Gavazzeni and Castelli in Bergamo as a non-affiliated trainee doctor within the Post-Bariatric Surgery Unit, developing advanced skills in the reconstructive treatment of formerly obese patients.
On 26 and 27 October 2023, he served as a lecturer at the Cancer Research Centre (CRO) in Aviano, leading a theoretical and practical course featuring live surgery on oncoplastic surgery for breast cancer.
From 1 April 2023 to 1 March 2024, he held the position of Medical Director at the UCO Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Cattinara Hospital, part of the Giuliano-Isontina University Health Authority. In this role, he specialised in breast reconstruction and post-bariatric surgery, working within a multidisciplinary environment of excellence.
Since 1 March 2024, he has been working at AraMedica (Via Lequile, 37 – Lecce) as a Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, where he continues to provide highly skilled care with a patient-centred approach and a focus on therapeutic innovation.

- 2017: Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery, Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, grade 110/110 with distinction. During his studies: one-year internships in Human Anatomy and Histology, and two years in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery;
- 2018: Registered with the Lecce Medical and Surgical Association, registration no. 8422;
- 2018: Licence to practise medicine, University of Bari, mark 270/270;
- 2020: Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, Merz Institute of Advanced Aesthetics;
- 2022: “Italian Certified Wound Care Basic” Diploma, University of Asti – UniASTISS.
- 2023: Specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, University of Trieste, grade 50/50 with distinction.
