Lipofilling
Plastic surgeryIt is possible to reshape the face and body without resorting to implants or temporary fillers. The secret lies in lipofilling, an innovative, safe and risk-free aesthetic medicine technique that allows fat deposits to be harvested from a donor area on the patient’s body – such as the abdomen, buttocks or thighs, which are often resistant to diet and exercise – and re-injected into another area to improve volume and shape.

Lipofilling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses very small incisions to remove and inject fat. The scars are usually very small and almost invisible, hidden in areas that are not easily visible, such as the navel or skin folds. Over time, these scars tend to fade further and become barely noticeable.
The results of lipofilling are generally long-lasting. Some of the injected fat is reabsorbed by the body in the first few weeks, but the remaining fat becomes permanently integrated into the tissues. Typically, around 70% of the fat survives, and the results can last for many years, depending on the patient’s lifestyle, weight fluctuations and natural ageing.
