No, the scan is completely non-invasive: it involves a single 3D ‘snapshot’, with no contact with the skin, no radiation, and takes just a few seconds.
Clinical observation remains central, but 3D analysis provides objective measurements, comparisons over time and a view of the face that is not affected by different lighting or camera angles, thereby improving the accuracy and planning of treatment.
