The cost of blepharoplasty varies depending on the type of procedure (upper eyelids only, lower eyelids only, or both).

Immediately after the procedure, you may notice swelling and bruising around the eyes, which will be at their worst during the first 3–5 days but will subside within one or two weeks. You may experience a feeling of dryness or excessive tearing, which can be alleviated by using eye drops prescribed by our specialists, as well as by maintaining good eye hygiene.

Recovery from blepharoplasty varies from person to person. Generally, the recovery period is very short, and most people can return to their daily activities within a week or 10 days. It may take 4–6 weeks for the results to fully settle and for the swelling to disappear completely.

Blepharoplasty may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions, such as: eye problems (dry eyes, glaucoma, retinal disorders), blood clotting disorders, or those taking medication that increases the risk of bleeding.

Blepharoplasty surgery takes an average of 1 to 3 hours, depending on whether it involves the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids or both. It is usually carried out as a day procedure, allowing you to go home on the same day as the operation.
