Luis Eduardo Gesù
Biography
Dr Luis Eduardo Gesù is an internationally renowned plastic surgeon with extensive training and specialisation in General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He currently practises privately in both Argentina and Italy, working with a number of leading medical centres, including AraMedica.
Since 14 February 2022, he has been working in private practice as a freelance specialist in the field of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery in Monopoli, Italy. At the same time, since 1 June 2018, he has also been practising in private practice in Buenos Aires, Argentina, within the same field of specialisation.
Previously, he held the position of Specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital Británico de Buenos Aires (from 1 June 2015 to 30 May 2018), where he completed his specialisation accredited by CONEAU (Comisión Nacional de Evaluación y Acreditación Universitaria de Postgrado). During this period, he undertook an overseas placement at the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, Spain, further expanding his training on an international level.
From 1 June 2013 to 30 May 2015, he also worked as a Specialist Doctor at the Angel H. Roffo Institute of Oncology in Buenos Aires, contributing in particular to the field of oncological surgery.

- 2009: Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Buenos Aires;
- 2013: Specialisation in General Surgery;
- 2014: Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the Rancati Centre in Buenos Aires
- 2015: Specialisation in Surgical Oncology;
- 2018: Specialisation in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Hospital Británico in Buenos Aires;
- 2019: Master’s degree in Breast Cancer at the Umberto Veronesi Academy in collaboration with the University of Madrid;
- 2021: Recognition of his academic qualifications by the Italian Ministry of Health, thereby qualifying him to practise medicine in Italy.
